When we don’t understand someone we fall in love with them, but when we realise an individual’s truth, we exclaim “you aren’t who I thought you where”
Is it the absence of truth, that negates love ? Or our pathetic genealogy that screams at us to believe it, for the easement of a more mechanical process. If love isn’t an illusion, if it isn’t programmed into us, why do so many people fall victim to its smoke and mirrors ? Perhaps it is another tool of the hyper real, tales of monogamy to make sure we all have something and someone to look forward to.
